I had enough free time to spend an hour of my day off to listen to people at occupy, they don’t want to end wall street they want to reduce it’s influence over the politicians spending our money.
I thought the 53% was against excessive government spending, why can’t I find a voice here?
I am a working student, I don’t want a handout, I am a conservative and a republican voter who is concerned about how new campaign finance laws allow the corporate sponsoring of candidates who will act on their interest.
I am pro capitalism.
I am pro business.
I pay my taxes and honor my debts.
I am against new campaign finance laws that allow corporate bodies to merge into “SUPER-PACS” and funnel unlimited amounts of $ into campaigns, sponsoring candidates.
Our senators and congressmen are supposed to represent the different views of their base, not prioritize the interests of certain banks and multinational corporations at their expense.
Why am I suddenly labeled an unemployed hippie for calling attention to how these new practices directly threaten our democratic process? We should be exchanging ideas about how to regulate government to stop spending so damn much and stop TAXING US so damn much!
I am against the private organization the federal reserve printing trillions with total disregard to the serious issue of inflation. We all know how inflation acts like a hidden tax on us, why should we supportive of an organization that won’t even acknowledge this?
These are serious issues we must address, please do not label and be dismissive of Americans, we are going to need to work together to fix these problems our country faces, not dismiss and isolate each other.

We don’t know what this means. Brian (@lostlocalhost) seems like a good guy, so we’re trusting that scanning this won’t send you directly to porn. Or will it?
How about you give me a voice instead of someone who isn’t even expressing an opinion?
I am with you 53, not against you, but can I exist if I don’t fit your narrative?

Another guy says he’s one of the 53. But he didn’t even write anything original. Just another tea party sheep following Erick Erickson (if that’s even his real name!). Sheep.

We, the 53% of income-earners who pay taxes, hereby refuse to bitch about it. We’re happy to make a living. Just because we could whine about stuff doesn’t mean we will. That is all.
